Following a clean sweep at Phillip Island, Liam took on the challenge to repeat his domination at Sydney Motor Sport Park. In wet then drying conditions Liam showed why he was the man to beat. With a convincing win the wet it was clear that Liam had the track mastered and the championship was well within his grasp. Race 2 saw Liam lead from lights to flag and in doing so posted another lap record and secured the championship. Smashing the old record by 0.7 seconds it was an impressive drive given the track has a some corners with water running over them. At the completion of the season Liam has broken 4 lap records of the five tracks and held onto three lap records at the end of the season. He won 8 of the 15 races and was the only driver to appear on all race podiums. His championship win with 70 points clear of second place was made even more impressive given the loss of 60 points due to engine failure at Winton. Next race for Liam is in the Dunlop Series at Homebush in early December.
